Conditions: Pre-Time Skip Luffy, Saiyan Saga Goku (Kaioken)

Prologue: Luffy met up with Goku after the Strawhat's dropped anchor at an island with one small house on it, the words "Kame House" painted on the front. After meeting the Pirate captain and having a conversation with his new friend, Goku eagerly asked to spar with Luffy to which Strawhat happily accepted. "Let's go to a different place" Goku asked of Luffy due to the Kame house being right next to them and would be in danger if they fought. Goku loudly called out for his nimbus and to the Strawhat's amazement a yellow cloud flew down and appeared, the rest of the Strawhat crew wondered to themselves if this was Skypiean technology and when asked by Nami, Goku was confused.

Goku hopped on and so did Luffy suddenly, proving his innocent nature. The two flew off to where the battle would take place, past the coast where Grandpa Gohan's house resided and onto a wasteland, the perfect site for two destructive forces to battle.

Fight Start!:

As Goku took a fighting stance, Luffy ran at the Saiyan before stretching his arm back. "Gomu Gomu no Pistol!" he shouted as the stretched arm snapped back towards Goku who dodged the attack and rushed towards Luffy.

Sorry about that. With that said then Goku would go in and punch Luffy a few times, Luffy would be sent flying back, stand up and wipe off his lip, then say not bad. All the while Luffy would have taken no damage from the punches as he is made of rubber.

Is that better?

Goku would grin and start having fun as he realizes Luffy can withstand his hits and would start enjoying himself just before Luffy would shoot gomu gomu pistol at Goku.

Goku would still be faster so he would dodge. Luffy, then realizing how much faster Goku is then goes into second gear.

And now we get to the main event: debate. I dont think Luffy would be so quick to go into second gear. Not only is it not his style, he doesnt even go right to it in serious fights let alone a sparring match. Do you have any reasoning why he would go right to it that you would like to argue?

Luffy is smart enough to know when he can't keep up. I think that if his opponent could dodge his attacks and move faster than the eye the he would know its time to kick it up a notch. Also, Luffy does use it whenever he is frustrated in a fight

Not really, he never goes to second gear after two attacks. That's all that has happened so far in this fight.

ya but he I'm just saiyan Luffy would know he would need the speed boost after two of his attacks weer easily dodged by Gokus immense speed

Luffy rarely reasons in his battles to such a degree. He fights on instinct. Im inclined to say that he wouldn't go gear two near the start of the battle, though it really wouldn't make a difference if he did. Assuming Luffy did go Gear Second...

Goku would percieve the increase in speed from his opponent and subsequently up his own speed, surprising Luffy who sees that he's still at a major disadvantage.

Luffy jumps backward and then stretches his arms back in preparation for a Gomu Gomu no Storm. He unleashes the fury on Goku who is pulverized into the ground...

The smoke clears and Goku pulls himself up, dusting him self off with a smile... "You're pretty good, he says. But you're never going to be ablt to beat me"...

With that Goku, disappears from Luffy's sight, and delivers a powerful blow strait to Luffy's face...

This is nothing but rape on Luffy's side. Not only dose Goku Rape But He Stomps and Rapes with a Fusion of the both. Goku wouldn't even need to use Ki blast to win this. He's multiple times faster and with having the ability to fly. Goku launches Luffy into space, The end
